BFlecha (Vigo, Spain) has been making some serious noise lately!

Playground - "If one thing has always characterised the electronic scene, it’s the scarce presence of women. Nevertheless, it’s true that this is becoming less notable every year (as more girls get involved). Proof of this was the programming on Friday at SonarDome. The first lady to appear was the Galician BFlecha, who offered us a spectacular live show. Receiving an ovation before the end of every song, the woman from Arkestra showed us that she is not lacking in fans (the tent was noticeably full for the time of day) and that she comes across really well live, simultaneously singing and playing synthesisers and other instruments at the same time."

Her last release on Arkestra Discos was the certified floor-banger 'Ceja de Carnival', her vision of durrty-south music sprayed with rainbow psychedelia. It's like Three Six Mafia playing 808s and flutes by the campfire. The second offering on the double a-side is the dreamy but raw ballad 'Kosmic Lovers', somewhere between the 'purple wow' of the new school Bristol sound (Joker, Guido, Gemmy) and the epic 80s divas including Kate Bush and beyond. The tracks, fully produced and written by BFlecha have been tested in front of the unforgiving Sonar crowd and not only received their approval but also DJs including Rustie (Warp, UK) and Sinden (Kiss FM, UK).

BFlecha has received huge props from the Hyperdub and Luckyme camps already and this is only the beginning.
